A day of Farms.....

Mea and I had a blast with my mom and 2 brothers, Joey and Cameron. We started the day off at the Farmers market in Salt Lake City. There are all sorts of booths and great food, fresh fruit and veggies. I found a cute bracelet from Peru! Mea is such a patient girl and loves to be around people. She would hold Cameron and Joey's hands and just lead them around like she knew the place. After the market we headed to Wheeler farm. Mea looked like she was in heaven. She saw cows, bunnies, goats, chickens, fed the ducks, went on a wagon and horse ride, and ate ice cream. Joey and Cameron are such great uncles!! They carried her on their shoulders and made the day so much fun for her. Thanks for all you do....I love you guys! My mom and Mea fed the ducks together. Mea could have fed the ducks all day. I have a video of it, but my computer is having probs. I will keep trying to upload it. Thanks mom for all you do. You are so great....we love you Nana Gramsie Joe!

Our Fun Weekend!

My sister Kaleena and her husband Kyle along with their daughter Sophia came up for the weekend a few weeks ago. We had so much fun. The guys went fishing, so we had a girls day out. It happened to be Kaleena's birthday as well which was extra special. We went out to lunch, went to the park and rode a carousel, had cupcakes from a fun cupcake store in town, and ended the night with a campfire making "banana boats" -- our new summer favorite! I had so much fun and feel so lucky to have such an amazing family.

Yee Ha!!

As part of spirit week, the school had a rodeo. We had no idea until we go there that it was students from the college riding the steers...not professional bull riders (don't worry the steers did not have big horns). Some of the steers were so small that when the guys were on them, they couldn't even stand up and just rolled around on the ground while the poor guy, probably trying to impress the ladies, held on for dear life! Girls rode them too. It was very entertaining. Mea loved the horses and kept "neighing" all night.

To bowl or not to bowl

One rainy day we decided to go bowling. Mea did not like the concept of rolling the ball with her hands. Instead she and Nick came up with a different plan. Nick would hold Mea by her hands and she would roll the ball with her legs as Nick swung her through the air. We only made it through half of the game before she realized that the merry-go-round ride she loves was in the same building and ran off to play games. It was a fun day to try something different.
