Mea's Latest

Mea is my best friend and makes me laugh everyday! Lately she is in love with dinosaurs and we read dinosaur books constantly! I look forward to our weekly trip to the library to get new books to read (especially the dinosaur ones....the names of those dino's are hard to pronounce)!

Mea calls anything chocolate "chocolate milks" and is head over heels with eating candy! Today when she woke up from her nap, her eyes still glazed over, the first thing she said was "candy hearts." Last week she came up to me, patted my behind, and said in the most darling voice "Mommy has a big bum!" I guess you can't hide things, even from a 2 year old! On Saturday Nick came home from studying and had trail mix with nuts and chocolate. He and Mea shared the treats and she thought it was the best combo ever! I was reading her an alphabet book in Nursery the next day and the picture for the letter "N" were nuts. Mea said in a loud voice "Daddy has nuts!" This was in reference to the night before eating their treats, but no one else knew that! Hide me!! Mea's favorite letter is "O" and she is obsessed with it! She loves to draw "O's" and likes to find the letter "O" everywhere. She thinks it is so cool that Mommy can make "O" shaped pancakes!
Here is Mea's room. As you can see, there is her bed and toys, toys, toys! She loves to play in her room and dress up, play babies, cook in her kitchen, hide in her tent, build blocks, and make a mess! No room for a dresser in here!
Last weekend my parents came up and Mea was in absolute heaven! She is sooo homesick for Utah and often cries telling me everyone she misses. It breaks my heart! We went bowling and had a blast! Thanks Papa and Grammie!
Mea is posing in her leggins and her "underwears." Really, it is just goes with her church dress but to her, it is underwear! What a fashion queen!

Do The Popcorn Dance!

One of Mea's favorite combo's is movies and popcorn. The other night we decided to watch a movie so we headed to the kitchen to make the popcorn. While it was popping, Mea starting dancing. Hence the "popcorn dance" was born. Now we must do the "popcorn dance" while the corns a poppin'!

Back in the Burg

We have moved back to Rexburg and are enjoying the winter weather immensely! Ha ha. I feel like we have to bundle from head to toe just to walk from our apartment to the car. Mea is growing used to the freezing weather and is obsessed with putting her hands in her coat pockets before we leave the house/car. A two year old walking with both hands in their pockets on icy sidewalks is not a great combo....this has led to two face plants on the ground. Poor girl! But nevertheless, she stands by her coat pocket method (she refuses gloves)!

Nick is crazy busy with school. I mean he literally is at school from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. It is too hard to try to do homework at home in a small apartment (Mea and I distracting? Never!) so Mea and I love to take him dinner at school and visit for a bit. He is such a hard worker and we are very proud of him!

Well, like every other time we have moved....we cannot find our cable to upload our pictures. You would think we would learn for pete's sake! So if anyone has seen a cable between Idaho and Utah, let us know :)
