Can you move like this?

Mea loves to dance to her favorite "ballet" song. The best part of this video is her stumbling across the floor after her massive amount of spins! Daddy's looks....and Mommy's moves!!

Mea catching up on business while doing her business!

Mea and the mustache

I totally forgot to put this picture with our Utah trip. Mea had chocolate above her lip and was so excited to have a mustache like her Uncle Joey! They were also eating blue candy so we had to get a pic of them with their blue tongues and staches!

Pregnancy Pic

This one is for you Trish! This is me last Monday, so I am about 23 weeks. I love that my belly is getting bigger and that I feel really good (except for my hips hurting every once in a while). I feel pretty lucky so far. Mea loves talking to the baby and kisses my belly button because that is where the baby lives! She loves to tell people she is having a baby sister.

I must have some Irish blood in me....

This year I went crazy for St. Patty's Day! It started with a pinching fight that forced Nick to put on his green shirt. Then Mea discovered tiny green footprints across our living room floor that led to a treat from the leprechaun. (I stole this idea from my friend Brooke...thanks!)

We had green milk (because the leprechaun had turned it green) and green pancakes for breakfast.
Mea was absolutely thrilled that everything was green. She said her milk tasted like chocolate...yum!
We ended the day by making green cupcakes with green frosting and delivered them to our friends. Mea really had so much fun and was super excited when her poop was green the next day.....seriously! I guess I went overboard with the food coloring!!

Big Boys and the Big Lost

Nick and his Dad went fishing yesterday and said it was one of the coldest, yet funnest fishing days they've had in a long time! Nick caught this delicious trout and by the smile on his face, he was pretty stoked. He now has caught the "fishing bug" and I am trying everything in my power to not let him quit school this semester and become a fish bum! I am glad Nick was able to have such a fun day, but could live without his fishy smelling hair and hands! Way to go boys!

Fun in Utah.....

It was spring break for my mom and sister in Utah, so Mea and I packed our bags and headed down! Mea and Sophie were inseparable and played, played, played until we made them go to bed. As usual, Papa painted the girls finger and toe nails (only Papa is allowed to paint their nails, they will not let anyone else!). See picture above

One day, Kaleena (my sister) and I took the girls to the Treehouse Museaum in Ogden. The girls had a blast and did not want to leave. Their favorite things to do are play in the kitchen, take care of the babies, play with the doll house, go to the music room and run absolutely wild!

Here are the girls before going on a walk. Yes, they are dressed like twiners and yes, I think Sophie is calling me a loser (j/k)! Kaleena and I joke about it because we were always dressed like twins with our cousins growing up, and now we are doing the same thing to our kids! They love to go on walks and get especially excited when Grandma Jodie brings the dogs along.

Mea and I also went to lunch and shopping with Grandma Joyce and had so much fun! Mea loved to try on dresses and model in front of the mirror. What a fashion queen.

We had a blast and were sad our trip ended so fast. I feel so tremendously lucky to have such an amazing and supportive family, in-laws and extended family!!!

IT'S A ............

Today we found out that we are having a GIRL! We are all so excited and Mea is happy to have a sister on the way!! I was totally thinking we were going to have a boy not only because this pregnancy has been totally different than my first, but because we can only think of boy names! So, for now our little baby is nameless. Mea insists we name her Little Mea.......tempting, but we are weighing out other possibilities. Hopefully we will be enlightened soon because I want to call my little baby her name, not just baby girl.

I am feeling great and the baby looks healthy and strong. Right now the she is horizontal in my tummy, but I still have many a weeks before I am due for her to flip head down.

Nick is so happy to have another little girl and is coming to grasp with being seriously outnumbered! Love to all!!
