Big fun at the Big Lost

We were lucky enough to spend the weekend with Grandpa and Grandma Montgomery and Uncle Chris up at the Big Lost River in Idaho. It was honestly so much fun to get away and all be together enjoying nature and each others company! Grandpa and Grandma own a huge trailer which is wonderful because you can go "camping" even in cold weather. We had fun watching movies, eating great food and treats, and especially FISHING (Mea's favorite part)!!! Thank you Grandpa and Grandma for the fun trip. We know it is a lot of work....we LOVE you!!
The girls at breakfast.

June was the messiest eater ever! She flung food everywhere. What a rascal!!

Here is a pic of the guys before leaving in the morning to go fishing.

The three Montgomery's doin' what they do best....fishing!

Mea and Nick by the river.

Grandpa Dave carried Mea into the river so she could be part of the fishing action.

The guys again. I love this picture!

Mea learning to cast. Yes, she is holding her custom made miniature fly rod Grandpa Dave made her. Spoiled....oh yea!!!

The three of us by the river. June was sleeping in the car which was good because it was pretty chilly outside.

Nick, Mea and Grandma Joyce with the fish Mea helped reel in. She loved touching the fish.

Nick catching a fish. If you look you can see its splash from jumping! I know, I take great pictures! (j/k it was a total luck)

Nick standing by the river. I think he is so handsome when he is fishing. I am grateful Mea is learing how to fish because it is such a big part of the Montgomery family.

St. Patty's Day

Gotta sport your green shirts!

June was a big fan of the pancakes.

Wow, green milk and green pancakes for breakfast!

June preferred to eat his footprints over the treats the leprechaun left us!

The trap we made to catch the leprechaun. We didn't catch him but he left us some candy.

Oh so crafty

"What should we make with these?"

Mea loves to make crafts, especially if painting is involved. She found these fake flowers the other day and stuck them in these treat containers and....POW.....our spring vases were born. I love creating projects for us to do and am happy she enjoys them as much as I do!
