Baby....Baby!

We are excited to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family! I am due July 10th and am excited for the first trimester (and nausea) to be over soon! We have long awaited this little baby to come into our lives and are very excited for our new little adventure.

P.S. If you are frightened by the new blog decor....blame Nick! He learned the blog password and changed the blog when I was not home. Please still visit our blog....I will soon change it back to something more....friendly!

Walter Did It!

We are currently living at my parents house and Mea is in heaven with the 3 dogs and 1 cat that also live there. She has learned to stand her ground and always bosses them around. "Peeka come here!" "No lick Myla." Well lately Mea has started blaming everything on Walter the pug. I'll say, "Mea, did you poop in your diaper?" "Nope...Walter did!" "Mea, did you break these crayons?" "Walter did it!" The other day Mea was in the tub and told me "Walter poop in here" "In the bathtub?" I asked. "Yep." There was no poop in the tub...I have no idea where she comes up with these things. I guess for now, we'll just have to blame it on Walter.

Below is a picture of Mea with her new kitchen set and princess clothes she got for her birthday. She spends hours cooking us food and pretends to heat everything up in the microwave. I wonder if she learned that trick from me?

To Fish or Not to Fish......

I wouldn't be a true Montgomery without posting some fishing pictures. This is from one of Nick's latest trips. Look at that smile! I think he has "fishing" in his blood and loves to go and be outdoors on the river. I am glad he has a hobby he really enjoys. We can't wait until Mea is big enough to learn...maybe next summer. (Nick is already constructing her a mini fly rod!) Nick is also working on re-doing his Dad's website. He is learning as he goes...but really really enjoying himself. Hopefully he will be done in a few weeks and the final version will be posted. (I say hopefully because I am going nuts with him working on the website in every second of his free time !)

We are so Thankful!

Yesterday while I was driving I just started smiling to myself because I felt so happy and so thankful for my life. We have been so blessed as a family and we love each other so much. I am grateful for my husband who provides for us and makes us laugh all of the time. He is so caring and teaches me everyday how to be a better person. I am grateful for my little Mea and her smiles, hugs and kisses. She is so happy and always tells us she "lubs" us. I have such wonderful parents, brothers and sisters, in-laws and extended family. I just feel so lucky and happy for all of my blessings.

Twilight Fever

My darling cousin bought tickets for all of the girls in our family and we went to see Twilight together a few weeks ago. We had so much fun and really enjoyed the movie. I was sooooo excited to see the movie because I became addicted to the books. Nick would tell me "all you talk about is Edwardo and the wolf guy." (He meant Edward and Jacob........boys!) I honestly couldn't function for about two weeks while I was reading them and Mea would get so frustrated with me. I would say "Mea, why don't you go and play with your dolls" and then sneakily pull out the book and start reading. She would get mad and run over and close it while saying "Book!" It is good that I finished reading them so I could start functioning and taking care of my family again.
